The Level 2 (Intermediate Level Apprenticeship) provides good working knowledge and understanding of an occupation. It demonstrates an employee’s ability to perform a range of tasks with some guidance or supervision. Competence levels are related to job roles such as Junior Secretary or Administration Assistant.

The Level 2 provides good working knowledge and understanding of an occupation. It demonstrates an employee’s ability to perform a range of tasks with some guidance or supervision. Competence levels are related to job roles such as Junior Secretary or Administration Assistant.

 

The Level 3 (Advanced Level Apprenticeship) requires a candidate to obtain detailed knowledge, skills and understanding within a relevant field. It demonstrates team leadership and specialist technical skills with competence in communication, problem solving and applied teamwork. Example job roles for this level include Personal Assistant, Secretary and Administration Clerk.

The Level 3 requires a candidate to obtain detailed knowledge, skills and understanding within a relevant field. It demonstrates team leadership and specialist technical skills with competence in communication, problem solving and applied teamwork. Example job roles for this level include Personal Assistant, Secretary and Administration Clerk.

 

The Level 4 (Higher Level Apprenticeship) is ideal if you deliver administrative support services and contribute at a strategic level. You may lead or manage a team, or want to move on to such a role. You need a range of administrative and management skills, such as budget management and promoting innovation.

The Level 4 is ideal for those in roles such as Office Manager, Team Leader / Co-ordinator, Personal Assistant, Business Development or Senior Office Administrator. Thus if you deliver administrative support services and contribute at a strategic level, lead or manage a team,  want to move on to such a role, or you need a range of administrative and management skills, such as budget management and promoting innovation, then this is the course for you.

At all levels the assessor will help the learner and employer choose optional units best suited to the learner’s job role.
